Mubarak Wakaso has confirmed his exit from Spanish side Deportivo Alaves after two and half years at the club.
The Ghana international midfielder arrived at Mendizorrotza in the summer of 2017 and has gone on to cement his place as a cult hero.
The 30 year old has made the switch to Chinese Super League to join Jiangsu Suning in the ongoing transfer window.
The deal for his transfer is reportedly in a region of $3M and would see his wages triple.
He took to his twitter page to bid Alaves goodbye ahead of the official announcement;
“Great moment. great time. Great life. Great memories. Great experience words can’t describe my feelings right now wasn’t easy for me to accept my exit from you guys but in the other way I was also thought of the benefits for both sides ✊ a big THANKS to @deportivoalaves 🙏🏾🙏🏾“
