In a 4-2-3- 1, below is FootballMadeInGhana’s Best XI of the Ghana Premier League after Match Day 5.
Peter Sarkodie ( Gk) – He was the reason Dreams Fc kept a clean sheet in the game against Medeama. His point blank saves in the second half was crucial in getting the maximum points.
Kwadwo Amoako – Despite losing at home against Berekum Chelsea, Amoako was outstanding on the day. Made sure he kept Amokona Frederick at bay in the game. Got let down by a goalkeeping blunder from Frank Boateng
Raddy Ovouka -.Gradually forcing his way into the Hearts of Oak starting line up. The defender put up one of the best performance in the Phobians shirt against Liberty Professional since he joined the club. He was very good both defensively and when attacking.
Ahmed Adams- He keeps justifying why he is one of the best defenders in the league. Answered every question thrown at him by the Ashantigold attack.
Ibrahim Abdullai – Scored the only goal for Dreams FC as they overcame a resolute Medeama side. He was very solid at the back.
Elvis Opoku – He had a brilliant game. Didn’t give Legon Cities players any breathing space in the middle of the pitch. Was a rock in the game against Cities.
Emmanuel Nettey – A wonderful display in midfield for the visitors, he seems to be what was the missing link in the Hearts of Oak. He was the heart of Oak on the day. Wasn’t suprise to see him been awarded the MVP.
Amos Addae – Though Ashantigold lost, Addae was at his usual best on the day. He was Unlucky to get his name on the scoresheet.
Victorian Adebayor – Adebayor grabbed the equalizer for Inter Allies against WAFA. He was a constant threat to the WAFA defence throughout the game.
Kofi Kordzi – The bulky striker’s great start to the season was once again on the spotlight as he scored the winner for Hearts of Oak at the Carl Reindorf Park. He also assisted Hearts of Oak equalizer
Yahaya Mohamed – Yahaya Mohammed broke the deadlock for Aduana Stars against Legon Cities to take his season tally to 6goals in 5 games. Many have already tipped him to walk away with the golden boot due to his good run of form.
