Ghana have been handed an invitation to participate in the 2020 U16 Development Tournament by UEFA to be hosted in Finland.
The tournament which will be played by only four countries will have Austria, Ghana and Ukraine alongside hosts Finland to participate in the competition.
The tournament which will be played in April will feature only boys born in 2004.
Ghana is expected to raise a team for the tournament which kicks off on 24th April and ends on 30th April.
It is unclear whether Ghana’s U15 side or the U17 side will represent the country at the tournament but the team is expected to arrive in Finland on 22nd April 2020.
Technical Director of the GFA Francis Oti Akenteng is expected to lead the delegation to Finland for the tournament.
