The 2019/2020 Ghana Women’s Premier League kick started on the weekend of 17th January with the former champions in both the Northern and Southern Zones showing total dominance.

Supreme Ladies in match day one were the only team to loose at home as they were strangled to a 1-2 defeat to Prison Ladies.
Pearlpia Ladies gave a good account of themselves against Fabulous Ladies in the season opener, recording a huge 3-0 win over the Porcupines.
In the Southern Zone, goal keeper Fafali Dumehisi’s Police Ladies tested their pores against Cape Coast-based Ladystrikers to record a hefty score line.
Two goals from exceptional Ernestina Tetteh ensured that Halifax Ladies secured a crutial away point from Sea Lions at the Nduom Park.
Meanwhile Immigration Ladies trailed visiting Soccer Intellectuals courtesy a Linda Addai screamer.
Hasaacas Ladies and Samaria ladies will will square off this afternoon to complete the round of matches in match day one.
