Head coach of Asante Kotoko Maxwell Konadu has revealed he is still hurt by his side’s two league defeats against Berekum Chelsea and Medeama SC despite their win over Ebusua Dwarfs.
The Porcupines started the league campaign with consecutive wins over Eleven Wonders and Legon Cities, but their run was halted with consecutive defeats to Medeama and Berekum Chelsea.
Despite pulling the plugs on the streak of losses by overcoming Ebusua Dwarfs in yesterday, Maxwell Konadu admits he is still pained they dropped all points against Chelsea and Medeama.
” Though we have won this game, but we are still thinking about the games we lost. We will not allow the win to overshadow the two defeat.
“That defeat is something I have been thinking about. It still hurt when I remember. I’m still trying to find out what really happened.
“We are going to work hard to win the subsequent games. We can’t afford to drop any points again”
Asante Kotoko will face their arch rivals Hearts of Oak on Sunday at the Accra Sports Stadium in the match day six of the Ghana Premier League.
