AshantiGold captain Shafiu Mumuni is on the verge of completing a transfer to Algerian side ES Setif, according to local media reports.
The two clubs have reportedly reached an agreement in principle and a deal is expected to be announced soon.
The 24 year will travel to the North African country to finalize the transfer in the coming days.
The talismanic striker was instrumental as Ashantigold SC won the NC Tournament Tier 2 competition.
He also scored four times in the Miners’ 2019/2020 CAF Confederation campaign.
Mumuni was crowned top scorer for the 2019 WAFU Cup of Nations after netting four goals for Black Stars B in the tournament which was held in Senegal.
