For the second time in three weeks, Berekum Chelsea have been named the FMIG Club of the Week after silencing Asante Kotoko at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday.
Veteran Kofi Owusu’s first half strike was the only goal the visitors needed to put their hosts to sleep at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
Chelsea have been in a wonderful form this season and are yet to lose a game after starting off the season in a brilliant manner.
The former Ghana Premier League winners pipped giants Hearts of Oak in the first week of the league to emerge the FMIG Club of Week One and have reported the same performance to beat another giant Kotoko.
The win over Asante Kotoko is the only win away in the week three of the league, making incomparable to the other clubs in the week.
The Berekum-based side is now yet to lose a game with two wins over Kotoko and Hearts and a home draw with Liberty Professionals.
