Ghana Premier League side King Faisal have appointed Serbian coach Slaviša Božičić as technical director of the club.

The former Red Star Belgrade U19 trainer arrived in the country on Sunday night and was welcomed by the Greater Accra representative of the club Nana Yaw Amankwah.

The management of the club decided to appoint the Serbian trainer to be the technical director of the club after a poor start to the season which has seen them lose two games already.

Božičić was officially introduced to the playing body and the fans on Wednesday as he begins his tenure at the club.

Božičić has been tasked to be the head of the technical team and work hand in hand with the head coach Anthony Commey.

He is expected to travel with the team when they travel to Dormaa to face Aduana Stars in match day three of the Ghana Premier League
