The 2019/2020 Ghana Premier League entered its second week with exciting and mouthwatering fixtures spearheaded by the clash between Legon Cities FC and Asante Kotoko played at the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday.
The wonderful packaging of the game by the home side got the stadium impregnated with amazing fans; some were traditional Hearts fans with many also intrigued by the strategic media hype of the new boys.
For fans of Asante Kotoko, this seems their season after their ‘Messiah’ Maxwell Konadu returned to the club giving them a wonderful start to the season. Their massive 3-1 comeback win over Legon Cities greatly boosted their confidence in the league.
With all nine matches played without a hitch, fans of Accra Hearts of Oak continued their agonizing posturing following their embarrassing start to the season, falling flat to Medeama SC by 3-0 at Tarkwa.
Aduana Stars continued their ejaculating start to the league by picking their second win of the season over Great Olympics at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Generally, a total of 17 goals were recorded in a 3-day period of exciting Premier League football.
