Accra Hearts of Oak young prodigy Michelle Sarpong has paid tribute to former coach Kim Grant after he was sacked by the club.

Sarpong who was given the opportunity at the club by Kim Grant thanked the former Elmina Sharks manager for the faith he had him and the time they spent together.

“You saw something in me that know coach has ever seen and you were the only coach to give me a chance to prove my self despite being in the youth team for 5 good years and had no chance to give a trial training at the senior side.

You had faith in me and you gave me the chance when no coach did. You thought me so much and I will ever remain grateful.

You are my favorite coach and I will never forget all you have done for me. Thank you Kim Grant and God bless you.”, Michelle wrote on his Facebook page.

Kim Grant has since been replaced by his assistant Edward Odoom.
