Evans Adotey, head coach for the national female under-17 team, the Black Maidens has been discharged of his duties by the Ghana Football Association with immediate effect.
Adotey who has been with the Maidens since 2018 will no longer be in charge of the team after the Ghana Football Association dissolved the technical team of all the National teams.
He led the team to the quarter finals of the Federation of International Football Association (FIFA) Under-17 World Cup in Uruguay in 2018.
He will have to reapply before he can be considered for the job.
The statement on the FA’s website reads:
The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has dissolved the technical teams of all national teams with immediate effect.
The decision affects both male and female national teams.
The GFA extends its appreciation to all coaches and members of the respective national teams for their contributions to our teams and Ghana football.
We wish them all the best in their endeavors.
