Hearts of Oak skipper Fatawu Mohammed has expressed his disappointment following his side’s 1-0 defeat to Berekum Chelsea in the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League on Sunday.
Jonah Attuquaye’s solitary strike was the difference between the sides as the Phobians began their campaign on a stuttering note.
“I didn’t find the game easy because it has been a long time I get much playing time. It wasn’t easy but as time goes on it will adapt”, the full-back told reporters after the game.
He continued, “I am very sad because first much defeat is very very painful but it is part of football so we have to focus on our next game and continue”.
The 27 year old recently penned down a two-year contract extension with the Phobians which will tie him down with the club till 2023.
Hearts will travel to Tarkwa to face Medeama in their second match of the season as they look to get back to winning ways.
