Asante Kotoko have extended the contract of their right back Augustine Sefah until December 2020.

The right back whose contract was due to expire on Dec 31, 2019, has opted to sign a new one until the end of 2020.

Sefa was almost released by the club but a directive from the head coach Maxwell Konadu made the club change their decision to offer him a new contract.

He is expected to play a key role for the club in the ongoing Ghana Premier League season.
