Veteran striker Yahaya Mohammed announced his presence by hitting the first hat trick of the season to power Aduana Stars to summit of the league table in  4-0 win over Inter Allies.

The 2016 Ghana Premier League winners hammered their visitors to register their readiness for a marathon contest for the league title.

Yahaya Mohammed’s hat trick and a late strike by Justice Anane secured the defending champions a comfortable win.

The former Asante Kotoko striker got his first in the 14th minute, before registering his second four minutes later.

Inter Allies had more of the balls but couldn’t create any goalscoring opportunity.

Yahaya Mohammed completed his hat trick in 73rd minute to put the game beyond the reach of Inter Allies.

While the Tema-based side were pushing for a consolation, Justice Anane made things worse in added time by adding the fourth goal of the game.

The two-times Ghana Premier League winners climbed to the summit of the league table on the back of the emphatic win over Inter Allies.
