Liberty Professionals came back from two goals down to snatch a point against Legon Cities FC in their opening game of the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League season on Sunday.

Legon Cities dominated the early exchanges while Liberty slowly got to terms with the rhythm of the game.

But it was the visitors who took the lead through Sulley Saddick in the 25th minute to end the first half 1-0.

Jeffrey Degorl doubled their lead in the 69th minute to silence the crowd at the Carl Reindorf Park.

But the Scientific Soccer lads didn’t let their heads drop as they rallied to stage a remarkable comeback.
