Dreams FC took off to a winning start in the 2019/2020 season in a magnificent style beating King Faisal by 4-1.
A brace from Emmanuel Ocran, and one each from Issah Ibrahim and Amadu Dantani secured the victory for the Still Believe lads.
Latif Mohammed got a consolation for King Faisal with 15 minutes to end proceedings.
Dreams FC started the game very well and could have taken the lead through Emmanuel Ocran but his shot was saved by Emmanuel Domfeh.
The In Sha Allah boys grew in the game and were able to match the intensity of the home side but couldn’t find the break through.
Kwame Peprah came close for King Faisal FC but his effort was blocked by Masahudu Abdullai.
Dreams FC finally took the lead through Emmanuel Ocran, after he pounced on a ball in the penalty box and lashed in a great strike to give Dreams FC the lead.
The first half ended 1-0 with King Faisal looking spirited to fetch the equaliser after the break.
But Dreams FC continue the second half from where they ended in the first half, doubling the pressure on the visitors.
Emmanuel Ocran made it 2-0 in the 53rd minute rounding off the goalkeeper before hitting the ball home.
Issah Ibrahim made it 3-0 for the home side just a minute after Ocran’s second after capitalising on an error from Kweku Duah to tap in the third.
Substitute Latif Mohammed reduced the deficit for King Faisal in the 74minute after his powerful free kick took a deflection.
Amadu Dantani made it 4-1 for Dreams with 5 minute to end the game after the home side teared off from a counter with Ocran setting up the substitute.
Dreams FC maintained their lead till the end of the game.
