Out of favour goalkeeper Ben Mensah has extended his contract with Hearts of Oak the club have announced.

Mensah who was tipped to leave the club due to the arrival of Richard Atta has decided to extend his stay at the club by penning a new deal.

A statement on the club Twitter account read:

”Experienced Goalkeeper, Ben Mensah signs contract extension.”

Mensah has been the deputy to Richmond Ayi since the arrival of the latter from WAFA but the arrival of Atta could see him move to third in the perking order.

Hearts of Oak face Berekum Chelsea in their league opener on Sunday at the Accra Sports Stadium.
