Legon Cities FC, formally known as Wa All Stars have released their new kit ahead of the 2019/20 season, and in doing so have sent fans into meltdown.
The new name, logo and jerseys forms part of the team’s rebranding efforts.
Management have opted to rebrand the club after the takeover from new owners after former club president, Mr. Kwesi Nyantakyi was handed a lifetime ban by FIFA from all football related activities last year.
The club was reportedly sold to the new owners led by former Ghana international John Painstil for around USD 2.5 million.
The 2016 Premier League winners will open the season with a clash against Liberty Professionals at Dansoman on Sunday.
