Accra Hearts of Oak have announced their captain Fatawu Mohammed as penned a new contract with the club ahead of the new season.
Fatawu signed a two-year contract with the club after protracted negotiations which saw him missed their President Cup encounter with Kotoko.
The club confirmed his renewal on their official Twitter account
“Our captain, Fatawu Mohammed extends his contract,”
He is currently the longest serving player at the club after joining them from Real Tamale United in 2013.
Fatawu was a member of the Black Stars ‘B’ squad that finished second at the 2019 WAFU Cup held in Senegal.
He was recently invited to the senior national team when Ghana played against South Africa and Sao Tome
