Maidawa who was the key orchestra in midfield for the Amansie Cobra during the NC Special Competition caught the attention of the Premier League returnees during a friendly with Asante Kotoko.
Maidawa’s ingenuity and creativity made him an option for Asante Kotoko under Kjetil Zachariassen but King Faisal swiftly jumped in front to negotiate for his signature.
The creative midfielder bagged 4 goals in 28 appearances for the Bekwai lads in their maiden Division One League campaign in 2016 and netted 5 times during the NC Special Competition.
He is expected to start for the In Sha Allah Boys in their Premier League opener against Dreams FC on Sunday at the Theater of Dreams.
