Inter Allies midfielder Richmond Lamptey is hoping to lead the club to a ‘respectable’ position in the upcoming Ghana Premier League following his appointment as the new skipper of the side.
The former WAFA attacker replaced Hashmin Musah as the substantive captain of the ‘Eleven Is To One’, who now assumes the role of deputy skipper for the side.
Speaking after his appointment, Lamptey stated it’s an honour to lead the club and he will do everything possible to lead the club to great position.
“I’m happy and it’s an honor to be the captain of Inter Allies. And I hope to lead the team to a good position [in the upcoming league] ” Richmond Lamptey told the club’s website via a short video after he was announced as the new skipper of the team.
Lamptey will face a tough test in his first game as skipper of Inter Allies when they travel to Dormaa to face Aduana Stars on Sunday December 29 at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park.
