Former Aduana Stars midfielder Sam Adams has bid farewell to his former club after completing his move to kumasi Asante Kotoko.
Adams refused to renew his contract with the Dormaa based club after a success five year stint.
The player took his official Facebook page to thank the management and the fans of the club for their reception during his stay at the club.
“FIVE (5) YEARS OF UNFORGETTABLE EXPERIENCE @ DORMAA
I write to express my profound gratitude and heartfelt indebtedness to Dormaa Hene, Nana Agyemang Badu ll , Management, Teammates, and supporters of Aduana for their amazing treatment during my five-year stay with the club.
It was really difficult for me to arrive at a decision to join Ghana’s biggest club, Asante Kotoko Sporting Club when the need arises following sumptuous service given to me. I couldn’t see myself leaving this club at this quintessential time, no, I couldn’t imagine.
However, time and seasons are ultimately decided by God, and at His own time He paves the way for what He has planned for you to set rolling.
I know how the feeling was when I resolved to join Asante Kotoko SC, but I couldn’t resist it after serving the club wholeheartedly and given everything I had to give for the betterment of the club.
You gave me a solid platform to exhibit my talent, and I dare not say it wasn’t a fulfilling one. It has been without a doubt a fruitful stay thus far with a lot of the fondest memories.
You gave me hope in my forlorn situation. You gave me life when I thought all is gone. You gave me a special name when I was unknown.
Yesterday, I officially signed a two-year deal with Asante Kotoko Sporting Club to continue with my journey as a footballer, and I would like to plead with all those who are hurt following my switch to find a place in their heart to forgive me.
The new dawn has of course arrived for me to continue working hard to give my very best for the betterment of the New season. It comes with the finest opportunity to grab to write my name in the letters of gold in the annals of Asante Kotoko.
I step forward to welcome the New challenge to make all my supporters elated.
By this message, I sincerely thank everybody who through diverse ways made life comfortable for me in Dormaa. I know if God wills it, we shall meet again as we journey in this life.
I wish you the very best in the new season.
God bless you all.
From; Sam Adams (Dormaa Machine), former Aduana Stars winger.
