Hearts of Oak head coach Kim Grant has finally been given his clearance from the Club Licensing Board to sit on dugout for the upcoming domestic league.
Grant, until now was not qualified to coach in the Ghanaian top-flight division for holding the UEFA Licence B certificate equivalent to CAF Licence B.
This was as a result of the enforcement of a rule by the Licensing board which indicated the all coaches for the Premier League sides must be CAF License A trained, and that will not be compromised.
However Fox FM reports that the Coaches Association of England, where Kim began his managerial career, has officially notified the Club Licencing Board of Ghana confirming that the former Elmina Sharks Youth coach is a qualified UEFA Licence A coaching certificate holder, who has completed the course and awaiting the arrival of his certificate.
The report further states that the Club Licencing Board has confirmed the news and Kim is now officially recognised as a UEFA Licence A coaching certificate holder, who qualifies to continue his job as head coach of Accra Hearts of Oak.
The news comes as a major boost to the Phobians who are preparing to embark on their quest to end a 10-year domestic trophy drought.
