Agyemang Badu has received the medical all-clear to return to action, Italian Serie A side Hellas Verona has announced.

The Ghanaian international was hospitalized in August after he was diagnosed with a pulmonary microembolism (a blood clot in the lungs).

However after months of rehab, his club confirmed  that “after the latest, recent visits to specialists which were passed by the player – Emmanuel Badu is cleared to return to full training.”

The 29 year old joined The Yellow and Blues on loan from Udinese in the summer.
