Asamoah Gyan was on target for NorthEast United in their 2-2 draw against Mumbai City in the India Super League on Wednesday.
The Ghanaian international struck in the 47th minute at the Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium to restore parity after the visitors had taken a 2-1 lead.
The 34 year old brilliantly created space for himself away from two Mumbai defenders after turn them inside our before slotting home what turned out to be the goal that secured his team a vital point against a tough opponent.
The result leaves NorthEast United on 9 points, one point off Jamshedpur and ATK who are joint top of the Indian Super League table.
