Ghana have moved up four places in the latest Coca-Cola FIFA ranking released on Thursday.
Two wins out of two in their opening games in the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers has seen the Black Stars make significant strides on the rankings.
The Black Stars began their campaign with a convincing 2-0 home win against Bafana and followed it up with a 1-0 victory away to São Tomé.
The four time African champions are now placed 47th globally, a rise from their 51st position last month.
Ghana are also ranked sixth in Africa behind Senegal, Tunisia, Nigeria, Algeria and Morocco.
