Head coach of Wa All-Stars John Painstil has confirmed the club are on the verge of signing former Ashantigold goalkeeper Fatau Dauda.

The shot stopper has been training with the Blues for sometime now after ending his four year stay with Nigerian Professional League side Enyimba FC.

Despite not signing any contract with the club, the Black Stars goalkeeper has been featuring in friendly games for Wa All-stars as they prepare for the forthcoming Ghana Premier league.

When asked about the situation of the goalkeeper, Painstil answered.

“We are still in talk with him. hopeful we will finish with him very soon. We will be glad to have him here”

Fatau Dauda was in the goal as WA all stars held Accra Hearts of Oak to 1-1 draw at the Accra Sports Stadium.
