Executive Chairman for Kumasi Asante Kotoko Dr. Kwame Kyei has insisted winning the CAF club competition is not a daydream and the club will continue to strive in order to finally lift the competition.
Asante Kotoko last Sunday played in the second leg of the CAF Confederations Cup game against Ivorian side San Pedro Fc where they were eliminated after suffering a 2-0 in Ivory Coast.
The defeat was their second elimination in the CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup in a month after Etoile Du Sahel eliminated them in the CAF Champions League.
The Unity oil mogul maintained winning the competition doesn’t come on a silver platter and they will do everything possible to bring the trophy in Ghana.
“Winning the CAF club competition is not a daydream. We tried our possible best but the plans of man isn’t the plan of God.
“Humans cannot dictate for the Lord, he knows best so we ain’t giving up, very hopeful of the success of this great club,” he told Light FM Sports.
