Ghana legend Abedi Ayew Pele turned 55 year today and has been widely celebrated by all who have followed the game over the last three decades.
The ‘maestro’ as he is affectionately called was the youngest player at the 1982 AFCON which Ghana won.
He was also a member of the Black Stars AFCON squads from 1992 to 1998.
He scored several goals at the tournament and won the AFRICA player of the Year award on three consecutive times, the first time a single player achieved that feat.
Below is a compilation of some of his goals at the African Cup of Nations.
