Former Ghana defender Sammy Osei Kuffuor is reportedly set to take over the ownership of King Faisal Football Club.

This latest development comes days after club President and founder Alhaji Karim Grunsah made a public plea to interested investors to come to the rescue of the financially stricken Kumasi-based outfit.

According to local media reports, Bayern Munich legend Sammy Kuffour has tabled a mouthwatering bid to buy the club.

Negotiations are at an advanced stage with only a few little details being sealed before the official announcement.
