Nordsjaelland playmaker Mohammed Kudus has vowed to weave his way into the Black Stars following his maiden invitation by coach Kwasi Appiah.
Kudus has expressed delight over his first call up to the senior national team.
Kudus, 19, having represented Ghana at the U17 and U20 levels described the call up as the beginning of greater things but vowed to keep working hard to remain in the team.
The Right to Dream Academy graduate has been impressive for the Norwegian club since the start of the season and he is hoping to continue his form at the national team.
“I’m very happy to hear this. I’m looking forward to represent my country again,” he said.
“My coach Flemming Pedersen told me [yesterday] after training, and I just thought “wow!”.
“It’s good news but I also believe it’s just the beginning and now I need to work even harder,” He told SN.
He added “I knew the national coach had been here in FCN [FC Nordsjaelland] to visit and that there was a chance this could happen.
“This is one of the biggest things that can happen, and it has come early. It’s a good step for me but it’s just the beginning.”
Ghana will face South Africa and Sao Tome next month in the 2021 AFCON qualifiers.
