Ahead of Asante Kotoko’s CAF Confederations Cup second leg clash with San Pedro, former striker of the side Amed Toure has urged Asante Kotoko to be wary of the attackers of the Ivorians side on Sunday.
Kotoko needed a late penalty from Naby Keita to win the first leg in Kumasi and will need to be at their best for the second leg in Ivory Coast on Sunday.
Amed Toure who has featured several times against San Pedro in the Ivorian league cautioned the Porcupines to be wary of the threat that will be pose by the attackers of the Ivorian Club.
“San Pedro plays an attacking game when playing in their home games and they have very dangerous attackers who didn’t travel to Ghana with the team,” he told Ashh FM Sports.
“Kotoko should be ready to face their sharp and dangerous attackers because they are very dangerous when at playing home.”
The AS Vita Club striker also maintained the change of venue for the game will help Asante Kotoko.
“The venue for the game might not favour San Pedro because they are playing the game far from their own home grounds.
“It would be very tough for Kotoko though they are going with a goal advantage,” he added.
The game has been scheduled to come off on Sunday at the Stade Félix Houphouët-Boigny.
