Newly-elected GFA President Kurt Okraku has lifted the spirits of Kotoko players ahead of their CAF Confederations Cup first leg play-off game against San Pedro of Ivory Coast this afternoon.
Kurt is currently in Kumasi with some of the newly elected executive council members to throw their weight of support behind the team.
The football-crazy administrator participated in the team’s ‘jama’ session before urging them to go all out of the win.
“When you go out on the pitch, you should know that it is not only Asante Kotoko SC behind you, you have the GFA and the entire football fraternity and all Ghanaians with you.
I believe in your quality & have no doubt that you make us all proud”
The Porcupine Warriors are expected to make it to the group stage of the competition following their exploits last season.
Kotoko dropped from the CAF Champions League following their failure to kick out Tunisian side Etoile Du Sahel.
