Jordan Ayew has backed his teammate Wilfried Zaha to rediscover his best form after his rocky start to the current campaign.

The Ivorian who has been the undisputed star man for the Eagles in previous seasons has largely struggled to live up to expectation so far.

However, Ayew is confident the 26 year old will overcome this poor patch and get back to his old sef.

“Everybody knows the kind of player he is and the qualities he has got,” the Ghanaian international told Mirror Sport.

“In football there are tough times and good times but none of them last forever, so you just ride it out.

“You can see the way he is playing it’s just a matter of time before he starts banging them in.”
