Ghana Football Association Presidential candidate Fred Pappoe has launched his manifesto, and outlined his vision for the Association if voted to power.
The event which took place in Accra at the AMA office Complex, Octagon, was chaired by Prof Goski Alabi.
Pappoe, who was the former vice president of the GFA revealed his five thematic plans that will take the center stage of his administration should he be voted to power.
Recover, Restore, Redeem, Repair and Revive Ghana football are the FIVE Rs areas that he will focus on if he is given the mantle.
According to the Great Olympics Board Chairman, Ghana needs to have a Football Association which will be globally competitive and be able to adopt proper code of conduct for officials for the national team coaches, referees and players. Institution of a mandatory insurance and pension scheme for players.
He also talked about recommending the formation of Council of Elders, People in football and beyond, he also revealed club licensing will be strictly enforced and Reorganization of Juvenile football (academy and colts)?
The event was attended by two of Pappoe’s opponents Kurt Okraku and Lawyer Ankomah Mensah.
Other candidate who are seeking to lead the association are Nana Yaw Amponsah, Amanda Clinton, and George Afriyie.
The Election has been scheduled for October 25 in Accra.
