Division one side Achiken FC are in talk with former New Edubiase coach Mustapha Balewa for the vacant coaching job of the club.
Balewa who led New Edubiase to secure promotion for the first time in the club’s history in 2009 is currently without a club after terminating his contract with A division two side in the Ashanti Region.
The former Edubiase boss revealed exclusively to Footballmadeinghana.com that he is in talk with the Adansi based club for the coaching position job.
” I’m in talk with Achiken FC, we are still at the early stage of negotiation, no agreement has been reached. But I’m optimistic everything will go well.
“It’s left with some small details and we are good to go. I’m sure we can finalize the deal in the coming days” He added
Mustapha Balewa has previously managed King Faisal, Cornerstones and was the assistant of New Edubiase head coach Anthony Commey during the 2016 season in which the club was relegated to the Division One league.
