Accra Hearts of Oak suffered a 2-1 defeat to Sahel Sporting Club at the club’s training base in Pobiman on Friday morning.
The Nigerien giants took the lead inside 25 minutes through Ghanaian Bright Korley who converted expertly from the spot to give them a 1-0 lead at the break.
Second half substitute Obeng Jnr made an immediate impact in the 49th minute by lashing in the equalizer from inside the area giving the goalkeeper no chance.
Sahel were reduced to 10 men after Bright Korley received his marching orders for a second bookable offense in the 58th minute.
Despite being a man down, the visitors grabbed the match-winner courtesy of a well struck free kick by Moucthar Yacouba in the 78th minute.
The warm up game forms part of Hearts of Oak’s preparations ahead of the new Ghana Premier League season.
