Thomas Partey continued his purple patch for Atlético Madrid against Lokomotiv Moscow in the Champions League on Tuesday evening.
After his masterclass in the Madrid derby over the weekend, the Ghanaian international capped another brilliant performance with a goal as the Los Rojiblancos beat the Russians 2-0.
Joao Felix broke the deadlock in the 48th minute, converting his own rebound after goalkeeper Guilherme had saved his initial effort.
Ten minutes later, Partey turned the ball in from close range to seal the victory and hand Diego Simeone’s men all three points.
The result meant that Atleti have registered their first win following a 2-2 home draw with Juventus in their opening match of the competition in Group D.
