Real Mallorca ace Baba Rahman is set for a spell on the sidelines after picking up an injury in the 4-2 defeat against Getafe in La Liga last week.
The Ghanaian international lasted only 19 minutes before he was replaced by his compatriot Lumor Agbenyenu.
Spanish newspaper ‘AS’ speculates that he suffered a partial ligament tear to the lateral ligament in his right knee which could see him out for the next two months.
Should it prove to be cruciate damage, it would be the second time the defender has suffered this blow, having missed 15 months with the same injury earlier in his career.
The 25 year old joined the newly promoted La Liga side on a season-long loan deal from Chelsea.
