Chief Executive Officer for Kotoku Royals Mr Linford Boadu Asamoah has picked nomination forms to contest for the Eastern Regional FA chairperson seat in the upcoming Ghana Football Association (GFA) Election.
Linford who doubles as the vice Chairman of the Eastern Regional Football Association picked his nomination forms on Thursday as he hope to secure the top managerial position at the region.
“Yes I have picked my nomination form today to contest for the Chairmanship position in the Eastern Region.
“My focus is to develop Juvenile and grassroot football in the region. And also make football attractive for corporate bodies to come on board and support us” He told Footballmadeinghana.com.
Regional FA elections are set to be conducted on October 18 across the various regional capitals ahead of the GFA Presidential elections
Mr. Linford Boadu Asamoah was the person who organized a successful Division One and Juvenile League for the Eastern Regional clubs after the Anas No12 expose to keep the clubs active.
The chairmanship position has been vacant since the demise of Alhaji Abdul Ganiyu earlier this year.
