Red Bull Salzburg playmaker Majeed Ashmeru has described the games against Chelsea and Real Madrid during preseason as ‘a dream come true’. 

The Ghana U23 star was impressive in both matches and was not fazed by the prospect  of playing against the biggest teams in Europe.

He started in the 5-3 defeat to Chelsea and climbed off the bench in the narrow 1-0 loss to Real Madrid and showed his qualities by bossing the midfield.

Ashmeru revealed his emotions and what it meant for him to feature in both games in an exclusive interview with FootballMadeInGhana.com

“It was like a dream come true for me, I mean I always watched Chelsea and Real Madrid play as a child supporting them so it was a dream come true and I was determine to show that I can play against the big teams in Europe. I was ready and excited for the game and after the game I got a good feedback from people”
