Former Vice President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), George Afriyie hasĀ picked up nomination form to contest for the 2019 Ghana FA presidential elections.
The bankroller of Okyeman Planners took his forms at the premises of the GFA on Monday after going through the necessary formalities.
The vetting of qualified candidates will take place from September 26 to October 1 with the election slated for October 27, 2019.
Ahead of the elections next month, George Afriyie faces competition from Kurt Okraku, Osei Kwaku Palmer, Fred Pappoe, Kudjoe Fianoo, Nana Yaw Amponsah, and Dr. Tony Aubynn.
