Benjamin Tetteh scored to inspire Sparta Praha to a 2-0 victory at home while Patrick Twumasi guided Gazisehir Gaziantep to a 3-2 home win over Basiktas to start a new week after the international break.
Razak Braimah found his way into our Best XI of the week following a period of inactivity for almost all Ghanaian goalkeepers abroad while Mubarak Wakaso and Aziz Tetteh maintained their positions in the team.

Razak Braimah (GK) – Linares Deportivo: Following a week of inactivity for almost all Ghanaian players in the top leagues around the world, Razak Braimah who plays in the lower tier of the Spanish league was picked. Richard Ofori last played in August for Maritzburg United whilke Ati Zigi is yet to taste a game this season with Kwarasey also missing in action since the end of last season. Rashid Nuhu was also not in action for New York Red Bull II.
Harrison Afful – Columbus Crew: The veteran defender was in full time action for his side as they won 3-1 away over Atlanta City. Afful was in a fine shape for the Yewllow and Blacks.
Baba Rahman – Real Mallorca: The Chelsea loanee made his debut appearance for Real Mallorca in their goalless encounter with Athletic Club. He lasted the entire 90 minutes and suffered a yellow card under 67 minutes
Salisu Mohammed – Real Mallorca: The young defender saw full time action for Real Valladolid as they drew 1-1 with Osasuna. Salisu continued his fine form for his side.
Nicholas Opoku – Udinese: The Black Meteors defender was in full time action for The Zebras in the Italian Serie A. Opoku showed aggression and was stupendous with his clearances and aerial tussles.
Aziz Tetteh – Gazisehir Gaziantep: The combative midfielder continued his fine form for his new side and they secured a wonderful 3-2 win over Basiktas. He saw full time action and he shielded his team to victory.
Baba Iddrissu – Real Mallorca: The defender was absolutely phenomenal despite losing to Valencia. He lasted the entire 90 minutes of the game for Real Mallorca as they lost 2-0 away at Valencia.
Mubarak Wakaso – Deportivo Alaves: For the fouth time in a row, Wakaso has weaved his way into the Best XI of the week. He was in full time play for his side and despite losing by a lone goal to Sevilla, Wakaso was as workaholic as usual.
Kwadwo Asamoah – Inter Milan: Kwadwo Asamoah saw full time action for Inter Milan as they pipped Udinese at the Estadio Giuseppe Meazza. The midfielder played a key role in his side’s win.
Patrick Twumasi – Gazisehir Gaziantep: Twumasi scored to aid his side to win 3-2 over Basiktas. He opened the scoring before Chibsah scored the winner for the side.
Benjamin Tetteh – Sparta Praha: Tetteh lasted 63 minutes for his side but his opener proved decisive as gis side built on that to win 2-0 over their opponents. He was influential and until he picked a knock, he was a thorn in the flesh of the opponents.
