Black Stars ‘B’ head coach Maxwell Konadu has omitted ten (10) players from the squad ahead of their crucial CHAN qualifier against Burkina Faso, Footballmadeinghana.com understand.
Hearts of Oak duo Benjamin Afutu Kotey and Manaf Umar, Aduana stars duo Joseph Addo and Fatawu Abdul Rahman, Daniel Lomotey of WAFA, Issac Kwain of Karela United, Benjamin Yourk of Sarmatex, Patrick Arthur of Dreams FC, Ansah Botway of Liberty Professional and Ashantigold defender Mubarik Yussif have all been dropped from the team ahead of Sunday’s qualifiers against Burkina Faso.
Maxwell Konadu will now have a sizeable squad to prepare for the game against Burkina Faso on coming Sunday at the Baba Yara Stadium.
The team started preparations in Kumasi for the game since last month, where they engaged in series of friendly games to get themselves ready for the game.
The Black Stars ‘B’ are also expected to represent the country in the upcoming WAFU tournament to be staged in Senegal.
Asante Kotoko players are expected to join the team tomorrow as they intensify preparation for Sunday’s game.
