Ghanaian playmaker Solomon Asante grabbed his 21st goal for Phoenix Rising o extend his historic feat in the United Soccer League Championship on Saturday.
Asante grabbed the match winner against San Antonio three minute to full time to register his 21st goal for the club.
The Ghanaian also guided the side to the longest ever unbeaten run in the Championship as they registered 18th game unbeaten record.
The Ghanaian who is the skipper of the side is the first captain to have led the side to that feat in the history of the club.
Asante thus, becomes the first person to have scored 21 goals in the history of the club.
Asante’s legendary status in the club has been overly admired by owner Didier Drogba whose admiration for the Ghanaian knows no bounds.
