Chief Executive Officer for Eleven Wonder Takyi Arhin has confirmed the termination of the partnership agreement between the club and Seedorf Soccerlink Academy and Agency.
The Ghana Premier League Club signed a partnership agreement with the Agency three months ago which saw the name of the club changed to Benfica Sporting Club.
Three months after the agreement, the Techiman based club have announced the cancellation of the agreement after the agency failed to meet any of the conditions stated in the agreement.
“Yes, we have cancelled the agreement” Takyi Arhin told Ark FM in Sunyani.
‘They couldn’t fulfill any of the condition we gave them after three months. They were expected to get an accommodation for the players, buy a team Bus for the club and secure a land for the club to start the academy.
“Nana Ameyaw gave us land in Techiman to even build the academy there but they couldn’t do anything”
He contninued “They have not make any capital injection to the club. If you examine the situation you can clearly see they are not ready.
“I was even in Accra when Nana Ameyaw wrote the termination letter to them. I can confirm the deal is off”
The Partnership was such that Seedorf Soccer link Academy and Agency will Support Eleven Wonders in player recruitment, also develop youth football in the region and also expose the young talents to the international world of soccer.
