Accustomed goal poacher John Antwi powered Pyramids FC to the semi finals of the Egyptian Cup after bagging a brace against Haras El-Hodood on Friday.
The Ghana forward broke the virginity of the game from the spot on the 43rd minute to put his side forward.
Antwi unleashed a thunderous strike on the 70th minute to record his brace and the second for his side to seal the game.
Antwi’s predatory instincts have been applauded in Pharaoh-land as he continues to enrich his historic achievement in the region.
Three minutes after the restart, Pyramids were awarded a penalty kick that was converted cleverly by John Antwi.
Around the 70-minute mark, Ibrahim Hassan sent a defence-splitting through pass towards Antwi, whose powerful strike went past Ahmed El-Saadany making it 2-0.
The win takes Pyramids to Egypt Cup semifinals to face Petrojet in their next game.
