The senior national female team of Ghana, the Black Queens have left the shores of Ghana to Libreville ahead of their 2020 Tokyo Olympic qualifier with Gabon.
Mercy Tagoe’s ladies will face their Gabonese counterparts in a two-legged qualifier for a place in the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo.
The first leg will come off on the 28th of August with the return leg fixed for September 3 in Ghana.
Ghana was among seven other countries namely Nigeria, Kenya, Cameroon, South Africa, Zimbabwe and Equatorial Guinea that drew bye in the preliminary round of the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games and are expected take on their respective opponents in the second round of the qualifiers.
The 2020 Olympic Games will start from July 24 to August 9, 2020.
