Fortuna Düsseldorf Sporting Director Lutz Pfannenstiel has dedicated the side’s 3-1 win over Werder Bremen to injured Ghana winger Nana Opoku Ampomah.
The Ghana winger picked up an injury in the side’s last preseason friendly ruling him out of their Bundesliga opening clash at Bremen.
Ampomah has been ruled out with a hamstring injury and could be out for some weeks.
But following their win over Werder Bremen, Lutz Pfannenstiel believes Nana deserves a mention in the brilliant celebration.
“Great win at @werderbremen on Matchday 1 of the @Bundesliga_EN
This 3 points are also for the injured Nana Ampomah and Aymen Barkok! Get well boys,” Pfannenstiel tweeted after the game.
