Head coach of Ashantigold Ricardo Da Rocha has expressed his satisfaction with his team progress after their 2-0 win over Desire Acadamy in a friendly encounter.
The Miners continued their preparation ahead of their second leg encounter with Akonangui FC in Obuasi with a low profile match on Saturday against the Division two side, goals from Shafiu Mumuni and Benjamin Eshun secured the victory for the Aboakese boys.
Speaking to the club media after game, the Brazilian gaffer expressed his delight with is team improvement game after game, he also insisted the club is focus on the game against Akonangui FC on Saturday.
“I’ve seen an improvement in my team after today’s game. We’re more focused on the game against Akonangui.
“All we want is a win for our supporters and Ghanaians”
Ashantigold will be looking forward to secure their qualification to the next stage of the CAF Confederation Cup on Saturday after getting an impressive draw in the first leg.
